ok so i was on OTTperformance just now and saw that they have a meth kit for just $220. what is it missing compared to the one for $330 they offer? and also is the $220 one just plug and play or what?
2. could i just run water? benefits/downsides.
3. should i get meth or the heat exchanger first. whichever i get, i will install right before i go to get tuned on my 60lb injectors and 2.7 pulley.

go to AIS..they have all the info your brain could want on the meth subject and you'll understand it to the full extent.....their kits are top notch and i've never seen a better customer Service department

also if your getting tuned then it would be more beneficial to get the meth...that way your already tuned for it an no need to try to run water like u mentioned (that would be stupid anyway) and you don't have to get tuned for a h/e...makes more sense to get meth plus your benefits are way better with meth than there is with the h/e...remember h/e's are only 60% efficient...best bang for your buck is meth by far

 

If you are not getting tuned for the meth you wont feel a big hp difference, but the iat2s will be dropped quite a bit.

I would just pm fast98 and ask what is all in the kit. I bought the AEM Meth kit and am getting it installed at the shop as we speak.

edit: I re-read what you posted op. I would recommend getting the meth first since you are getting it tuned and run -20f windshield wiper fluid. Its basically a 50/50 mix, some are 49/51 or whatever, but its pretty close and saves you some money. Just make sure its the -20f windshield wiper fluid.

Anyways, good luck, and I will let you guys know what my iat2's were before and after the meth is installed.
