How do I take off my B&M Shifter? HELP, FAST!

I am trying to change my shift boot around, and even though I live in a family of mechanics, no one really wants to help me. Poor 'ol me! Girl's gotta do everything by herself!

Anyways, I have the B&M short throw, and I got the knob off fine (duh =/) but I dont know where to go from there. Can someone help me please?? and SOON?

I need to finish installing all of my prettiness stuff!

pop off the console piece the boot is in. unplug the cigarette plugs 1 down low and one under the AC controls. lift the piece up, and look for a small zip tie around the shifter neck. cut the head off it, then it should open up enough to take off over the shifter shaft. the install is the reverse of removal. just make sure to plug both cigarette plugs back in.
