I finally got my dealer to call to get a real update to know where is my car in the world.

It is in Michigan somewhere to resolve an issue, he was not able to know what it was.

Appearently, the very first Balt where resolved in Lordstorm but all the other are going through this new place.

Worst thing, there is no way for them to know when it could be shipped to them before it get to the dispatch point, for my car it will be Quebec.

God damn!! I'm tired!

At least you know something about it. Most people do not know where their cars are.

I don't get this. I've been to several dealerships in MI and they all have Cobalt SS models on the lot...:twothumbs

There are at least 15 to 20 within 200 miles of Atlanta. I drove the heck out of a blue one, and then bought the zero mileage black one.

Maybe you could fly to Atlanta?

No mark up here. I got mine for $400 less than invoice plus the $1000 rebate and no doc fees.

Mine asked for how long it shoud take and they were not able to answer.
I know it left the plant on June 6th. So, if it is still sitting there..... who know how long it could take!

there are or where about 8 in Mass but not mine.
If i had put a deposit down and not signed the paperwork to purchase, I would have gone somewhere else by now.
But it appears I am kind of stuck..
and no-one, including some dude a GM, knows when the car will arrive.

You'll see new 07s until late this year. Most dealerships use Labor Day weekend to flush out the remaining 07s.

I was told mine is in Ohio, then has to go to Michigan, then back to Ohio, then up here to Wisconsin.

Way to go GM....

Just because there was a quality issue with the TC's does not mean they held all the Cobalts. So they could get in certain 08s quicker.

WTF are you talking about?!

Are you trying to now tell me I can't tell the diff between an standard Cobalt and a Cobalt SS?

I initially said that there are several dealers around me with 08 Cobalt SS models on the lot. I am trying very hard not to be a dick on this board, but you're pushing me... :cussing:

Lastly, you said they use this upcoming Labor Day weekend to flush out the 07 models...you're kidding me, right?

My memory is not all that fresh, but which SS are you referring to? Okay watch the freaking local sales. Around here if they have a good bit of 07s left after the summer rush they use the labor day bull crap to say they have this big sale. And if you take it that way you my friend get offended over the internet WAY to easily.

And the orders were filled by first come first serve and sometimes dealerships have higher priority over customer orders. Those orders could've been placed MONTHS before yours was.

By the way go ahead be a dick I don't care. I'll I have to do is hit unsub. and no worries. All you are to me is nothing but someone typing text into a box then it becomes HTML code. Nothing but code is all you are.
