Unfortunately it's no fun trying to get good mileage. But 23 mpg in a large metro area is damn good for a manufacturer rated 241 HP. Exact same driving style...engine seems to be getting better mileage as it breaks in. Same thing happened on my '06. First few tanks were 23-24 mpg, and after a few thousand it was up to 27+ on mixed driving. Once though on a flat stretch of highway I put the car on CC at 70mph and turned off my a/c and got 42mpg. I'm anxious to see how much more mpg I can get once I get a CAI and a catback put on next year. |
