i know its not a good idea but she runs fine and after dumping that kinda $ into it im not gonna beat on it thats for sure. im pritty familiar with when and why it throws itself into limp and i think its learning quite well as of right now. i havnt even thrown a lean code yet. its either my throttle poss sensor or my crank poss sensor thats throwing me into limp. i had a multi misfire code at first but it hasnt came back since i cleared it. i think it happened as soon as i fired it up and my #2 piston slammed up into my plug... wrong torque specs FTL lol... that was an extra 3 hours of work that i had to do that i was pissed about. and that was like last thursday and i didnt have a code reader till this afternoon

Man I cant believe you spent all that money and didnt think $300 for a wide band was necessary. Not to mention starting it and driving it with no tune. I hope you dont screw anything up but that is the about the dumest thing you could do.

Sure, the plug will give if the piston hits it, or the piston will give sometimes. It won't do enough to damage the bottom end though, unless the piston hits the actual head or something.

My boy's 02 Sentra Spec-V, is boosted, and actually hammered a plug once. No other indication of anything wrong, but it picked up a miss and he pulled the plug to find that the piston had hit it and closed the gap. Never happened again and the car had been on this motor for a while before it happened. Just one of those strange things.

i switched back to my 42s for now cuz my 60s were flooding it pritty much, and it still runs rich as ***** because of the cams... the car is fine... im not worried about a thing. it barely gets driven and when it does i dont drive it hard because im aware of the risks. pennies are tight for me at the moment so this is how she is being driven.

and as for being "complete" thats just for now... haha

your build is not complete.
im sorry man, but i find myself asking, how can you drop that much money into an engine, and run it on a completely incorrect tune, and have no wideband?
do you really know what your doing?
scratch that. if you did, i wouldnt be asking those questions.

to much money, not enough sense.

So you are running 60's on the St2 tune? If so, I bet that your #2 plug was mushroomed due to your combustion chamber having a large quantity of gasoline on top of the piston. You must be running absolutely stupid rich. Get a tune - quick

Supporting mods > all other mods.

You should line up a tuner fast, and get a wideband so you can get a good dial in.

And WTF are you doing running an S2 tune with 60's?
Your probably flooding the **** out of that motor.

all in all i think its save to say that everyone doesnt like that idea of you driving your car without a wideband and a tune.
