corsa faling apart

corsa faling apart

anyone ever have a problem with their corsa's front resonator having the core of it break away fromthe shell and just flop around/, im putting in a straight piece of pipe for it but kinda sucks that a corsa broke

i tried welding it back together but was too hot nd melted a hole in it, plus i didnt buy the corsa so i have no proof of purchase

thats why i'm leaning more and more towards magnaflow. i like corsa especially on the ls1's but they have the same issue with them falling appart. what a shame u pay 800 bucks for a quality catback and it falls apart.

wow, first corsa case i have heard of. very rare for those things to got down, they are pretty damn durable

thats what i thought, they are my favorite exhaust company, but it doesnt help that ive scraped the bottom a few times

not unheard of. a few other members have had several issues, with the mufflers and resenators falling a part. and its verry common on vettes and camaros.

i had a glass pack put in today where the resonator was and it sounds SOOOOO good and quieter untill you get on it, it is still loud if you get on it but at idle or while cruising in the car you hear no drone or and sound really, it was so weird driving it home today in compleat silence lol.

i have corsa on everything never had a problem with any of them LS7 to LSJ and LB9 etc in between...

The resonator on mine lasted just a tick over a year before it fell apart insidel just like yours. Got it replaced a couple months ago with a larger and quieter resonator (got the "sport", should of gotten the "touring" instead).
