Talking Ghetto Air freshener

I was thinking about taking a dryer sheet thats ment for laundry and putting it behind my cabin air filter so that it make my car smell good when my ac is on. But I wanted to know if theres a chance it will get cought up in the blower motor or mess something up. Do you think I should give it a try or what?

might restrict air flow...good idea tho...i just get the spray stuff and spray it in the vents and let it dry then turn the air on

i think they actually make scented pads that u put on the filter...personally the smell of dryer sheets makes me nauseous

IM not trying to be cheap but the trees dont last long plus they have to be hung on something. I think they look stupid too. And airflow was a thought but you can pretty much see through the sheets so I dont think it will be an issue. Im more worried about it falling down when the ac is not on and getting cought in something.

Sometimes I've put a dryer sheet under my driver's seat overnight and that seems to work pretty well. It doesn't last long though.

Yea it doesn't last that long but it does take away any bad odors that are in your car

Just leave you're cologne in you're car and when ever you put in on the smell will remain in the car after a while.

On a second thought...what the hell are you guys doing in you're cars that is making them stink so damn bad?

Like someone said, just put one under the seat. It will still smell from down there, and there isn't a chance it's going to hurt anything.

I have a little bag of air freshener stuff (crystals of some sort) that I picked up at Wal-Mart one day. It's been in there under the driver's seat since March and still smells really good. Anytime the windows are down it makes the smell stronger due to the airflow. I haven't used the AC yet, but I'm guessing the airflow would be about the same.

I hang the trees on the seatbelt latch between the seat and center console when I use them. No one can see them.
