If it's stock you would get the 9007 HID's. I have 8000K in my projectors & I LOVE it.

But I don't suggest HID's in your stock reflector headlights...

P.S. Where in Florida are you at?

because it's rude, obnoxious, and ricey.

you blind everyone else on the road because there's no cut off like there is with projectors. don't put them in your stock lights. that's one of the lamest things you can do to your car. you know how people get pissed if you drive around with your high beams? well this is worse than that.

Yah putting HIDS in stock housing is a bad idea, you will probably get a ticket like my friend did. If you want HIDS do it properly by getting some projectors and buying an HID bulb to fit in them. I went with 6000K in my projectors.

projectors are your best option but if you are dead set against them then dont get either...buy some cheap xenon bulbs....

what you're doing by putting hid's in the stock housing is like intentionally putting on an unpainted body kit. it's just rediculous.

if you don't want projectors, why do you need hid's? not for nothing, but everytime i see some ricer with wanna-be fake ass hid setups i hope they crash into a tree.

it's one thing to be a ricer. nobody cares about that. but to be a ricer, and also put other people in danger, that's just wrong. and to do it intentionally? beyond fucked up.

dont bother D4, he asked the question, got 10 replies....
ignored them, and listened to the one other ricer in the thread who already had them,

he wasnt looking for advice, he was looking for vindication for his shitty idea.
and he got it.

One more for the pile.

go ahead and flame.. But, (probably just a business trying to sell product) I spoke with 3B specialties and they said glare was hardly noticeable in the new cobalt headlights. Not the ones he has, i see they are the older style. i could be wrong, but wether or not you guys like his idea, he's still going to do it. It's his car and his choice? Soo give him the details. good or bad.. leave it as that?
And on that note, i'm not a fan if the projectors either, i personally find them "ricey" on a cobalt, i think the painted body matched ones are much more appealing.. but again it's all a personal perference
