I just bought a 06' Sunburst Cobalt SS and I am looking for some other Cobalt owners to hang out with in the Tampa area. I live near North Dale Mabry and I would like to start a Cobalt Club in Tampa, unless there already is one that I am unaware of. So if anyone is free to meet up tonight or tomorrow let me know. We dont really have a specific club, but we do schedule meets and such every once and a while. This month i think a bunch of us are looking to go to HIN in Orlando on the 19th.

Im from central FL, and there are some others in your area: InfinityzeN, Sherm420, and a good chunk of others. I have my lil crew around here; me, YELLERCOLT, my buddy matt, and a few other guys.

 

Yeah that sounds cool, I will more than likely head up there for that! I use to drive a 2001 Camaro SS and I had some friend's that drove Trans Am WS6's and would all try to meet up once a week. It was fun cuz there was always something to do every week. I want to get something going like that again but for people with Cobalts. I would like to get something going to do on a regular basis instead of only having something once a month to look forward too.

Okay cool well it seems like there is definetly potential to start something up more locally than having to drive all the way to places like Orlando if we can get enough people interested. Just spread the word to other people you may know and even if we can get a small group started, word spreads fast and we could get a nice size club started. We just need some people willing to give up some time every once in a while to meet up somewhere and hangout......

Its just hard to get everyone together at the same time because of conflicting schedules. Seems like there is always somebody who can't (or won't, JPizzle) take off work. I've been that guy in a few situations myself. Im really hoping we can have a big ass crew roll out to HIN on the 19th.

I hear you there bro. As I said before I work every other weekend, and with the stupid hours I work I can't really do much unless the timing is just perfect on the weekends I work. Since I'm working mornings that weekend and have to get up at 3am to get ready for work, no way I could go and make it back in time to get some sleep.

 

That's cool! I have probably seen you before. I work in Oldsmar off of Racetrack road in an industrial park. I live off of Van Dyke. No I'm not on mafia-motorsports but I know what you talking about. My friends that all had WS6's were members.

 

so im down the street, im always on racetrack and linbaugh i work just up the road . You should get on there we always do cruises bbq's and stuff. Its mostly muscle cars but nobody has a problem with me on there. go join now!
