I took an exit and pulled in to gas up, he parked right behind me and asked if I wanted to make a run.....Ok, what the hell! So I made sure my radar detector was on and started at 60. (this is when I wished it was on video). Dude never had a chance, lol! by the time I reached 140 he was barely in my mirror. It all comes down to this, I love my fucking car!:cssNET:

If EcoBoost is any incilnatino of what the TC with traction control can do from a dig; I don't think it'll be very pretty for the SRT; plus the power band spools like a SC not a TC.

I say advantage TC.. on a stock SRT that is..

on a stock srt yes.......but a srt with stage 2 and "multiple mods" no way in hell unless the skittle driver is a person with cerebral palsy

highway racing at 1am is prob the best time to race, but even then a deer can jump out for example. you hit a deer going over 100 and shit happens. some highways may have an unexpected pothole. you never know what could happen. hey i race too, im just saying you cant say you race safely on public roads bc racing on public roads is not safe. get it?

so, instead of making a new thread......I was testing my launch tonight on my road.......I launched at 3000, 3500, and 4000......it chirps, sounds like its going to die and then friggin takes off like a bat out of hell.......it was even worse when I launched at 5500. Whats with this.....I also did an insane burnout till about mid 3rd too with the traction off.

I used to not have any problems launching with my old S/C, but then again from what I remember this car is a whole different ball game.

Also, is it best to keep the recomended mobil 1 in there or could I go with royal purple or some shit like that?

Yeah , it's apples to oranges thou. My SS feels like it pulls harder after 330ft than my Z28 did , but it was a piece of cake to launch that car (1.9 60's) compared to the Cobalt. I had well over 200 passes with the camaro W/O one part breaking , i havent even taken my SS to the track yet lol.

I gotta get back into it again . I'm just afraid once i do i will be there every friday night ...... breaking shit hehe.

I've gone 165+ in a NA car, however it was a Heads/Cam LS1 Camaro and before my 4.11 gears. You don't need a turbo to do it.
