they are low 15 second cars that trap around 90mph @ 3000lbs, and thats the 6 speed at 230hp, minus the 20% drivetrain loss that they have, they make around 190 to the wheels. the auto's are rated at 210hp, 170whp. they handle like a dream in the turns, but they arent anything to brag about in a straight line.

I've seen plenty of stock LSJ's take down RX-8's... considering your mods, it shouldn't be any trouble.

yea, stock I beat a modded rx8 by like 2 cars and since I modded my car I beat them by bus lengths, like I get bored cause I pull away so hard. lol.

I've actually gotten to where I just **** with people now. Like even if I COULD go all out and destroy them, I just keep like a nose on them, bouncing the car. lol.

 

Rx8 are definately great looking cars, but they are pretty slow to Cobalt SS. From your mods you shouldnt even think twice to losing to stock RX8. My buddy with a 2.4 SS beat the RX8 by a car length.

 

I raped an rx-8 with bolt ons by several lengths from a 70 roll, 40 roll, and a dig, and i only have intake and exhaust. you shouldnt even waste your gas on her unless she is really being annoying about it.

Race one who has a good driver, i have seen them go 14.6-14.7 stock @ 95-96 mph and fully bolted they run high 13's@100 or so, from a roll they are pretty damn quick when modded, also just throw a 3 rotor on there and hello 450whp N/A.......Dont underestimate a car you guys know nothing about.

Also i dont know what mods these RX-8's have but you guys must be racing ones with crappy parts, cause with full bolt-ons they make 230whp.......plenty enough power to lay waste to a stage 2 ss/sc
