my cat melted again....sEcond time in less than a month!!!! crap!! i was racing a Pontaic GXP SC an i do have to say that thing had sum ***** cause i had ALOTof troulbe pullin on him but after we raced i noticed i was overboostin bad... maxed out my gauge an it went down to like 1-3psi. my exahust note changed an went from to normal to obnoxiously loud to quite again... huge loss in performance gauge is showin me goin into boost really quick under light throttle...iam just gonna cut it out tomarrow an throw a straight pipe in lol

Do you have an aftermarket cat in there? If you went anywhere other than the dealership, or called around for estimates, then they may have given you the cheapest aftermarket they could find to compete.

Most cars are fine for many years with an aftermarket cat, but I wouldnt be surprised if the Cobalt rejected one.
I would get a high flow performance cat, personally. I cant wait for mine to go! =D

ohh hmm thats odd. I would never go catless though. The illegality of it and constant CEL would drive me nuts.

Just get a quality high flow cat.

GTP is the only supercharged one I'm aware of. Have a co worker who owns one.
Would of said GTP and under that Supercharged on the side of the car near the front wheel well.

260/280...with a few mods they can be in the 12s easy...they have no intercooler though, so their IAT2s are insane
