Got hit by a brand new benz... see pics.

the guy gave me a list of the stuff that was bent/broken but i forgot where it is. what do you guys see damaged?

damn, with a smack like that, i'd have that trans checked over, that could have sent that differential into the stone age.

wow...hit u pretty hard...looks like ur gonna need: a new strut, a new rack w/both inner and outer tie rods, a new sway link, a wheel & tire, a knuckle assembly......nd obviously the body work. you probably won't know if your trans is tweeked at all until u get the car fixed and start driving again..if the hit was that hard the the axel or lsd could've been flexed just a little bit....good luck kid..

my guess 2.5k in damage but that is minus tranny if anything happened there its more expensive.

That's a pretty bad hit. The wheel is probably bent to **** as well, and the tire is also toast. I would think there's more damage to your steering than you can see as well. Also like the other guy said, half shafts don't like taking hits that hard, and your transmission could possibly be damaged because of it......also take a look at the motor and transmission mounts.

its at a really good shop right now so i know those guys will do a good job on it... i have an 08 stang as a rental though : /
