ok i just have a few things,....more like 2 cent questions :)
sok well i noticed that when i turn my ss/tc off after driving, it sometimes stays on to keep the oil going through the turbo since its hot, and sometimes it doesnt stay on. shoulsd i be worried about this?
also i broke the rule of break in -_-" i couldnt help but floor it sometimes cause its so nice to hear the little whistle
anybody here floor their ss/tc balts that just got them?

The ECU should control whether the car continues to do other things after it is shut off. I'm not sure that the oil is still being moved around but I know that the fans will occasionally stay on just to cool the radiator down.
About the break in: I did floor it occasionally but I never took it above 5,000 RPM. The manual says that this is important so I went with it. You should be on, just be careful up to 1000 miles or so. The manual says 500, but don't drive the piss out of it unless you have to. I don't think it really matters but I like to go by the book. Have fun!

Ya, I am :( I didn't really notice it until I started to get on it hard. I don't think I hurt it. I think it's a manufacturer thing. I will be posting once I have GM look at it.

I did get on it a fews times before break in was done, but most of the driving was low rpm. But remember what Hahn said when they looked at the programming they found a "green" tune until about 1000 miles maybe the ECM is just trying to protect the engine that is just my guess. but if you have no codes not sure they will find anything, these things are VERY sensitive.

I can tell you with complete honesty, once my car got over 1000 miles it felt like a totally different car.
and actually if there is a "green" tune untill 1000 miles how would this effect the dyno results???? Has anyone had a tc dynoed after 1000miles??

is that a good thing?

It should be. I think he is trying to say that once he exceeded 1000 miles, the car started performing better.

I am at 1185 and the car sounds much different after 1000 miles feels much different much faster i think.

i have a little over 1700miles...getting to 500 seemed like an eternity...i did get on it a couple of times but backed down quickly outta fear of breaking the break in rules..
car runs great and i have had no problems...(knock on wood).

The exhaust was the first thing I noticed that changed. after that it just seemed to come alive. It is a blast to drive. I am going to try and get to the track this week coming up. I would go tomorrow but its going to be 98 outside with a heat index of around 105 so that would be pointless.
