The down pipe is nice, welds are not perfect but they are damn close to it. The flanges are nice and thick, probably 3/8ths, i didnt measure. The entire piece weighs 10 lbs. on a normal bathroom scale, so give or take a pound there. And there is a little misalignment where they welded the the bend to the straight pipe, but it is so insignifigant that there is no way it will affect flow.
It is maybe a millimeter or two off at most, or they used a different pipe which that was not the exact shape as the other. Either way it doesn't matter, the down pipe is made very well and will flow like a mother so i'm happy:twothumbs

:lol: every car has a downpipe, sometimes known as a mid pipe. its the part of the exhaust in between the header and cat-back or the turbo and cat-back

a downpipe is what goes from your exhaust manifold (header) down to the catback system. Its the middle piece in a three piece exhaust system... Header -downpipe- catback... The downpipe has a cat on it. Or sometimes it doesnt, depending on how much flow you want. A downpipe with more flow will not have a cat. A cat is a catalytic Converter. just so you know

:red: I should have known that haha. Ive heard called a mid-pipe, not a downpipe. Im used to different terms with different cars. All Ive owned and modded is older cars, no need to fuck with emissions... headers, dual straight pipes, two glasspacks, tips and your ready to cruise around setting off car alarms.:D
