View Full Version : New MRZ 2.0 LSJ Lightweight Crank Pulleys just released!
MRZ - RedGTZ 07-20-2008, 04:58 PM We just released the New MRZ Lightweight Crank Pulleys :twothumbs
Same diameter as OEM to keep boost level constant, but 2.5 times lighter than the OEM cast iron GM pulley! this pulley will help free up extra HP from your engine with this huge saving on the crank rotational mass. This is one of the bang for the buck modification you can add to your engine and it's also easy to install in 30-45 minutes depending on your mechanical skills.
OEM WEIGHT: 1830 Grams
MRZ WEIGHT : 730 Grams
2.5 lighter than OEM ! Now that's a radical drop on the rotational mass of your crankshaft meaning your engine will get to revs faster.

stenguyen1 08-21-2008, 12:45 PM so this will fit the 2.2L? and would you gain more hp in the 2.2L than the 2.0L? and do you have any dyno numbers yet?
TxLonghorn#1 08-21-2008, 12:46 PM nice... price?

"2.0 Ecotec LSJ Supercharged LSJ Lightweight Crank Pulley[LSJ Crank Pulley] $174.95
06_SS_S/C 08-21-2008, 12:46 PM says for the 2.0 LSJ, so probably not made for the 2.2
stenguyen1 08-21-2008, 12:50 PM yea but at the bottom of the page of the link it says for 2.2l and 2.4l and i was just makin sure it fits the 2.2l. and if you would gain more hp than the 2.0
Herndon_High_SS 08-21-2008, 01:01 PM That's pretty sweet. Maybe in a month or two I might pick this up.
MRZ - RedGTZ 08-21-2008, 01:42 PM Any other colors besides black, blue, and red? Silver/Gun metal maybe?
You can get them in silver/natural billet aluminum color also, we have some other colors we can do as custom order...
so this will fit the 2.2L? and would you gain more hp in the 2.2L than the 2.0L? and do you have any dyno numbers yet?
Those are for the Supercharged LSJ 2.0, they would fit the 2.2 but the 2.2 and 2.4 have 5ribs pulleys... We'll have Underdrive pulley made for the 2.0/2.4 very soon, those will be underdrive so the HP gain will be even better on those NA engines. :twothumbs
nice... price?

ikeryder13 08-21-2008, 01:54 PM whats the hp gain look like?

M88ArRamadi 08-21-2008, 01:55 PM Are you guys going to do a "free shipping" or "group buy" deal? ;)
MRZ - RedGTZ 08-21-2008, 01:59 PM whats the hp gain look like?
We will get someone to compare the numbers soon on the Lightweight LSJ pulley but the HP gain should not be more than a couple HP since it's the same size as the OEM pulley, the real gain will come from the rotational mass reduction, our pulley weight 2.5 less than the OEM pulley, this will help your engine revs faster since the rotational mass is readuced :twothumbs
Are you guys going to do a "free shipping" or "group buy" deal? ;)
If we get 10 people or more we are ready for a group buy anytime ;)
spike 08-21-2008, 01:59 PM saved for the later
