Talking Black T/C in saskatoon

Well sherwood has a new T/C in stock and i had a chance to take it for a rip. No offence to anyone out there but, with the car right off the lot i really wasnt impressed with the power of the car it seemed very dogish off the line, the no-lift shift is cool and the new seats are sweet and the brakes work deadly but performance wise it didnt really blow my hair back i think just like the S/C it needs some performance mods, maybe an intake and exhaust to really hear the turbo, but according to the sales man there is a 300 hp stage kit that can be purchased for the car which is cool. The clutch in the new cobalt I noticed is much firmer and seems like it can take more abuse than the stock one in the S/C. But all in all its pretty sweet the new rims look real nice, i would really like to grab a set of those for my car. So like i said no offence but thats just my 2 cents on the car, i know not many people have drove one so i'm just giving my opinion on it.

I think they would look rather retarded on my redline but it would be nice to have 18's.

Turbo lag is just an excuse for someone who doesn't know how to launch a boosted car.

I think I might try and scoop this car up actually. Unless it's the car Tanya has been hinting about.

No the car is a slug off the line i dont care what kind of driver you are i tried it with and without the launch control. Go drive it see for yourself even the salesman said mine launched harder than that one.

with the launch control you floor it and it holds it at 5 grand then you dump the clutch.then traction control kicks in.

No. A good driver knows how to build boost at the line, without reving too high. I had a FP 16G on my Eclipse that I had to spool up before launch. I've had my fair share experience with Turbo's.

you got me Buca... with the trade in on my car I would be paying about the same as i am now. I drove it yesterday and I actually enjoy it, but it is definatly different to drive. I really didn't notice much difference from mine that has stage 2 as far as power goes. Just feels tighter, better ride and maybe a bit better acceleration with launch control on. And I love the new seats, so comfy compared to mine lol.

I'll let you have it buca, if I can move in with you in a month or so... lol... that is really the only thing holding me back, I should get something a little cheaper or jsut wait since I could be homeless soon,

Well just so you know the turbo on that car wont build much boost till there is a load on it.

Ya true but i dont think i would do it on a car like ours that are known for melting clutches. probly would launch a hell of a lot better though. I didnt do that with the salesman and my girlfriend in the car i think the salesman might have got a little choked.
