You have to maintain 95% throttle while hitting in the clutch for your upshift and completing the shift in roughly 3/10ths of 1 second ( pro's easily hit each gear at about half that to give you idea of how easy it is)

Hope this helps. try to goole something like "Cobalt SS No Lift Shift" or something. See what ya find. The interweb is a formidable and vast land.

All it means is you shift into the next gear without lifting your foot off the gas, so you stab the clutch and shift. People have been doing it since manual transmissions have been around.

I know that its just that ive been driving manual for a long time and i always let go of the gas a little. the only thing that confuses me is if you give it full trottle or let go just a little bit. Dont wana mess up my ride.

N00b. Go search around. Please quit posting bullshit & wasting bandwidth.

You can gain like 40 hp & like 80 lb-ft of torque from a tune.
