yeah well today was the first time i was gonnna run the cobalt at the trackk but one street before the track all the sudden i had no second gear. Well i could get into second but it was a grind everytime any idea??? Now the balt is siting at chevy overnight.....i think it might be time to let the balt go

Why? So you can get another car and then let go of that one when the first sign of a problem?

Let's see. You've got a high perf car ... that you added Stage 2 to ... that you added non-GM aftermarket parts to ... that because of all those add on parts dictates you probably drive the car fairly hard .... and now you want to dump the car?

Besides, who's gonna want to buy your car after they test drive it and see how 2nd gear is all effed up .....

Sounds like possibly the syncros, my second gear is hard to get into most of the time I'm interested to hear whats wrong. Post up when you hear something.

if you have less than 60,000 miles your good on the warranty work.

had mine go out as well and grind like crazy when i first got it. Check the problems and service as well as drivetrain. There is even a petition about it i created.
