Hey, Jay...how is your new rotor/brake pad setup working out for you? How is the rotor wear? Does it stop better?

I've been meaning to ask you, but keep forgeting.

Its great dude... Cant tell if they stop faster... but I can tell when im driving like a tard they dont fade near as quick. Rotor wear is fine.... nothing like the pathetic stock crap.
I highly recomend Uneeks setup.

we should all bring our girls with us so we could shove them together and get them out of our hair while we play ;) i know how ya feel man mine makes a big deal if i leave her then if i take her she complains and wants to go home :nono: any ways you didnt feel any less of braking distance compared to stock have you? I was just thinking that since the stock brakes are a softer metal then they might stop a little better?

I would go, but I have to stay in Yuma this weekend. When are you guys going to Firebird? There's a new rule there that if you have a s/c or turbo you have to wear a fire resistant jacket and once you hit 13's you have to wear a helmet. Maybe I can go to the next get together and take cobalt owners from here. We have 5 ss/sc's and a couple ss's on base

i prefer timed events , how else can you prove a cavalier beats a ss/sc , LOL

stock supercharged/turbo cars do not require you to wear a jacket

its when they are aftermarket you are required to wear them

im not sure whats going on this weekend , so not sure if im in or not

Is that sarcasm? Or did you mean 10-12 seconds in the 1/8th mile?

Seriously there are a few quick Honda's in the area, but those are few and far between compared to your typical Fart-Can, Poorly Fitting Body Kit and 747 Wing equipped Honduh's running around town.

That's Honda abuse right there.

There was a turbo'd teg gsr out last friday night. It sounded kinda gnarly and I figured it would be a mid 13 sec car at least. Haha, I was wrong. 15.4xx @ low 90's.

In truth, there really arent that many "fast" honda's on the roads. Most of them at mid 15's at best.

Not yet. Should be coming out of the paint-booth in the next few days (the dusty air has been causing some delays). Next weekend the engine goes back in, but then it's off to MetalMan Fabrication for a new CAI, Turbo (Exhaust) manifold, Pressure Pipes, Water to Air Aftercooler and Intake Manifold... looking at about 3 weeks for all of that. Then I can finish putting the engine together and get the rest of the "small stuff" wrapped up.

I'll be looking for about 450-475whp on pump gas, 520-550whp on race gas and about 700whp on the giggle juice.

sweet , make sure you get some good pics

you think the water to air intercooler is gonna work out better for you ? and are you goning to have ice resivoir to help keep the water cool ?

all that should put near the top for the srt's shouldnt it ?

The theory behind the water to air aftercooler is that there will be less pressure drop through the unit because of it's smaller size.

Hp off the nitrous will be about average for built engine big turbo SRT-4's. W/ the nitrous it'll put it near or at the top, at least for now.

TOTALLY AGREE! never said all the hondas are fast just stated that last time I was there the fastest import was a honda @ 10.8 and then there was a couple others that I would have had no chance against. dont think i was sticking up for them cause I cant stand them and even the few that are fast are still a honda!

Had six cobalt ss/sc show up no redlines got one run in and it sucked! but it was allright just alot of racers that night so the line was long my brother got a 13.7 on his last run so that was cool. i like going when theres not that many people so you can get like 10 runs in instead of 2! oh yea and one of the ss/sc was this black one with no wing or badges and he got 14.4 and 14.1's that night?
