Hey all.... I was just gonna let you know that there is a j-body meet up here in Charlotte on Feb. 18th... I'm gonna be there just to show off and get to know some of the people... if any of y'all are interested in coming feel free to!

I gotta check my work schedule for this month again. I only look at this week, but if I'm off I'll definatly make an attempt to go down there.

What time and where? There is a good chance I will swing by.

There's another shopping center with a Toys R Us and some other crap right across the street from the mall... we could do a little rendezvous there at about 1:00 then head across to the mall.

We could meet at the Sears Auto service center behind the mall off of Rennaissance Parkway. Rennaissance Parkway is the street that runs behind the mall. The Sears Auto place is back near the movie Theatre. It will take us ~2 hrs to get to Concord Mills. If we met there a little before 11:00 that should give us enough time. I think I saw your car about a month ago at the Wendys in Apex off of HWY. 64. Is that the store you manage at? By the way, I've got a black ss/sc so it should be easy to spot me on Saturday.

im thinking about coming now...my stuff wont be in before saturday (aka intense kit, motor mount, springs) but i might come anyway...how many cars are supposed to be at this thing? how many 'balts...how many j's?

I'm just outside of Raleigh. I'm meeting Jayson k12 at Sears Auto at Southpoint in Durham and then we are heading straight to charlotte fromt here.

Like Deaf Dog said, he & I are meeting at the Sears Auto behind Southpoint Mall a little before 11AM & heading out from there. Anyone passing by that way should definately meet up with us.

If you're coming down I-85 it's exit #49 same exit as Charlotte Motor Speedway (Lowes Motor Speedway) whatever... toys 'r' us is in a shopping center across the street from the mall... there's a Chick Filet... Red Lobster... Jared Jewlers... all that in the same shopping center... Toys 'R' Us is in the back... I don't think you can miss it... if you get off of I-85 it'll be on the right side of the road...

if you get really confused just swing over to the mall and we'll find you there.

I'll probably wait around Toys 'R' Us until 1:30 at the latest... then head over... b/c I don't want to miss all the guys at the mall...

I know some of y'all are coming from a long way off... I hope you'll remember to give yourself some extra time in-route b/c the weather is probably gonna be on the icky side... so traffic will be moving slower.

Well.... just thought I'd post up tonite and officially close this thread.

First of all I'd like to thank everyone that showed up... we had a great turn out overall I think... dispite the weather being nasty...

Deaf Dog, Jayson k12, Dman, NCSU Wolf, Simplex Ice, and myself made 6 Cobalts.

There were 11 j-bodies.... so 17 cars total... very impressive... for a cold, rainy saturday...

It was good to meet y'all and I do hope to see more of everyone once the weather turns warmer.

There were a lot of folks taking pictures at the meet... so I'll gather 'em all together and get a thread going this coming week with all the shots.

For those of you who joined "Street Visions" we (I suppose I can say we now) have a small forum HERE (http://domesticdisturbance.hyperboards.com/index.php) which should be growing with all the new members and submissions.

Again, thanks a lot for showing up, and I hope to see all of you in April!
