will the 08 sport suspention fit on my 08 lt

hey guys im new to this site im from ontario and i just purchased a cobalt lt. it is like 2 weeks old. its a 4 door sedan and i would like to keep the waranty on it but i olso want a better handeling ride. now the chevy dealer told me it had to be gm issued so i thought of bying the suspension from a 08 ss or sport and getting chev to install it. now i want to know if its a good idea

it's not really worth it actually. The price for install is way too much for the ride quality you get. Save your money for gas

They fit, but if money is no object why not get a decent coilover set up

I repeat, do not spend your money on OEM parts and have the dealer install it. If it's a GM part then install it yourself, the dealer will never figure out you have different than stock. Other than that, get aftermarket parts.

SS Parts that Bolt-on to Base/LS/LT Models

I don't know if there have been changes made to 08s. And good luck trying to get a dealer to bolt the parts up. Many will just tell you they will not fit (even though they most likely will). Many menbers have put parts of, or the entire FE 5 under their base model.
