Stupid question... but a must before spending my 250$

Ok ... I'm buying a new Injen CAI for my 07 Cobalt SS SC...

http://www.modacar.com/Merchant2/mer...mv?&Car=&Carb=

But everytime I look for CAI it's for 05 and 06 model... There is no difference with my 07 right ?? It will fit ??

Ho and the air filter should come with it normally ??

yes, but your brake lines are a a little different. makes the install a little more challenging.

You absolutely NEED to get blinker fluid if you are going to do this install. The muffler bearings on the inside of the fender will rub a hole in the Injen CAI for your 07.

Everything will fit fine. I have one on my 07 and no issues. And yes it comes with the filter (and everything else you need). Just watch out for that one screw because a lot of people have scratched the hell out of it on there.

I'm not going to do it myself. A friend of mine will do, but admitting that he can't, how much will it cost to install it in a car shop ?

(Ok I admit it, I'm not really the "do it yourself" kind of guy lol )

dude just find someone close to you that will do it for some beer or something cuz a shop will probably charge you an hour labour to do it. so i would say upwards of a $100

honestly, this is a real easy install...but a 12 pack is usually enough to convince a local cobalt guy to install it for you.

Ok and one last question, I live in Quebec Canada (read cold winter and snow)... does that mean I have to put back the original air intake before winter ?

Easy as hell to install yourself, and no, the winter's here don't do **** all to it. Just needs a good cleaning in the spring time. Just clean the filter when your changing your summer tires over.

Haha sorry guys, couldn't help it. You gotta save it for ultra-noob questions. Like when people ask "where do I get summer air for my tires?" and stuff like that haha.

But yea man, install it yourself, it's ridiculously easy. Takes maybe an hour.
