Just got my Nitto NT01 tires today (same size as stock). The launch control works great now just the right rpm for these tires to hook nicely with little to no spinning and no bog. With the stock tires you really have to work for a good launch, the Nittos just hook and go.... can’t wait to get to the track this Friday!! ESTA is having a test/tune on August 9th from 9-4.

 

Depending on the weather i might be a nyirp friday . I'll keep a look out for ya.

 

please let us know how those nt01's hold up for drag. some 60 ft times would be great!

Well, his tires sure did hook a lot better then mine. ESTA sucks yet again. It's pretty bad that everyone had a problem with traction. Even the guys who had slicks were all over the track.

 

I use them on the street, they work great. Very soft compound, with a little heat they hook like a D/R. Wear is much better though, as they aren't quite so soft unless they get hot, so I can drive around on them all weekend without wearing them out in a months time.
