Im tried of everyone saying that we need to meet up and all of us hang out and nothing happens. Look we all need to meet up and hang out one weekend. We can pick a place that everyone knows like the varsity or something like that. I know that there are alot of cobalts around atlanta so we really need to meet up. Lets make plans to do this soon.

I live about 2 mins. from Barrett Pkwy. I was out last weekend and I found where everybody meets up. I was the only Cobalt there. It would be nice to have some others. There was a kid who has a new Civic SI. He was talking all kinds of trash and wants to run me. I am for meeting up at Barrett, just let me know when. By the way, I have a Cobalt SS-SC.

If you come to this forum a lot. I'll PM you next wed or thur and remind you. Imports are huge on barrett on fri and sat nights. I think it will be pretty nice to have some domestic added to barrett. :)

The import scene on Barrett Pkwy isn't that great. There were two pretty nice SRT 4's, there was a new Civic SI, and a few other nice cars. For the most part it was riced out Hondas and such. I had a guy in a Cadillac (32V Northstar) try to run me from a light on Barrett. I had him by three car lengths, going about 60 mph.

Hey i'm from Teenessee...maybe 2.5 hours from A.T.L., but I have came to realize that a lot of people up don't that have cobalts, don't like to meet, since most i've seen are in their 50s and 60s. Now, I don't have nothing against them, and would be more than happy to talk to them, but they seem don't want to talk to me. But if you guys have meets, i would be than happy to come down and stay around for a few hours. Its not that bad of a drive, and I love driving. So its actually a nice thing in my mind. heh... but let me know if any of you don't mind. When you make a date and place, if one of you will pm your cell or something and maybe ... tell me how 2 get to the place. I should be fine going back, I just need to get there. Is anyone else interested in coming? There were ton of imports. A few good camaro's and mustangs (Damn nice 5.0).

I its very easy to tell that Joe u have a SS s.c , and Ls well..he has a LS.. :-D, but u said about other Cobalts...what all Cobalts do they have...? I have a 2.4ss Orange...I just love that color more and more everyday I look at it. Its priceless!!! :-D

also, is this place hard 2 find..I'll be coming down From Chattanooga, so I guess is it easy from the interstate...

Pretty nice run blown, I take it that intense kit is working pretty well. That's what an est. 2 seconds better with the kit? Me and joe were talking about it last night, he wants to get the kit too but he wanted to see what you'd run with it on. Hope to see ya on the next meet!

i seen a blue ss today while i was getting new tires put on i tried to find the car after mine was done but it was gone so that means that there are three ss cobalts an barret now also nice run a 13 is very nice but i wonder how lomg that clutch is going to last also what track did you go to

Sounds good man. I have never been there before, but I do want to see what my SS can do. Hopefully I can get my CAI and exhaust before this happens.

if you go you might want to get a set of drag tires i couldent get my car to hook at all also you can try and lower your tire psi to 25-20 that helped last time i went

i went last weekend to see how the track was and it was just to cold.. alot of cars up there i only saw 1 SS/SC but i cant remember what it ran..
if it is nice this friday i will more then likely be up there running my car.. i am going to do complete stock run just to give another "base" test for others to see and for myself..
best time will be had right now because its not to hot nor to cold.. ill be trying for a 13.99 stock.. hehe yea its far reached but this car is like a toydoll compared to its big brother in the garage :)

good luck with that 13.99 if you are a good enough driver it might happen my best so far was a 14.6 but i dont have much seat time so i am hopping for a 14.0 or better by the end of the season

i consider myself a descent driver.. i am told i race stupid though and my ability to run the limits/shift gears is freaky fast

i have ran quite a handful of times in my 5.0 so the track i am good with.. the cobalt is easier to launch with alot less torque to the ground.. im hoping to break 13's..
realistically ill prolly end up in the 14.2s - 4s
