There are several threads about this topic already. To answer your question, you need to check if you have side curtain air bags. An A-pillar pod can not be installed in that case. If you don't, then you will have to wait a little while longer, or you can always make your own. joe 02-07-2006, 05:04 PM and how do i get to know if i have a side curtain or not??? Easiest solution is to look on the pillar post and see if there is a tab the says SRS(Supplemental Restraint System) The most assured way is to take the pillar molding down and check mugencivicsi 02-08-2006, 07:15 AM Here is just an email i received from autometer roughly a months ago after i asked them about the cobalt and them making a gauge pod for it ---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Michael, We're currently looking at mounting options for the Cobalt. Unfortunately, because of the A-pillar airbag, we are prevented from doing simple A-pillar pods or pillars. We will have to design a dash pod of some sort.
