Please do a search prior to making a new thread. There are several threads about this topic already.

To answer your question, you need to check if you have side curtain air bags. An A-pillar pod can not be installed in that case. If you don't, then you will have to wait a little while longer, or you can always make your own.

Should be on the window sticker of your car :cssNET: IF you still have it that is.

Easiest solution is to look on the pillar post and see if there is a tab the says SRS(Supplemental Restraint System) The most assured way is to take the pillar molding down and check

Here is just an email i received from autometer roughly a months ago after i asked them about the cobalt and them making a gauge pod for it

Michael,

We're currently looking at mounting options for the Cobalt. Unfortunately, because of the A-pillar airbag, we are prevented from doing simple A-pillar pods or pillars. We will have to design a dash pod of some sort.

Thank you,
Matt

I was just wondering if you are considering a A Piller Pod For This Car, from factory the car comes with Bost/Vac (Candian) and PSI (USA) i am aware that many of us fromt he Cobaltss.net community would love to put more gauges as to keep a better eye on our engines, i personanly am very interested in pretty much the full line of Cobalt series gauges, but have no where to put them now.. are yoyu desiging or would u consider making one.. persoanlly if i could cause i doubt your in my area i would give up my car just so you can make one....

I posted info on this a couple of weeks ago. Emailed them and Autometer is making an A pillar pod. No it won't work with the airbags.
