But man. If you didnt put the Chevy emblem with the COBALT in it on your trunk. I swear, I never would have known it was a cobalt, except for the other badge that says cobalt

Ohh, if you're going to take off some of those cobalt logos, don't take off the one on the chevy emblem, it'll reveal the scratch marks from when you were trying to pry the old one off with a screwdriver... I guess take off the other cobalt emblems then.

well that was before I knew that your supposed to use a hair dryer. lol I can either put the original chevy emblem back, or debage and compound and repain with gm spray paint and leave it debadged. Kinda sucks tho. They don't make one plain like that without cobalt other wise I'd have that.

im about to buy me a set of these rip em apart and do a custom install for my G5....im sick of wating for someone to make a set for it

 

So what do you guys thing I should do?

* taking the cobalt sport badge off is not an option *

- Rebadge the stock chevy emblem and take off cobalt license frame (but leave front)

- debadge emblem I have now, compound, and repaint to leave badgeless? (lots of scratches) and take off cobalt license frame

- Get a better badge that doesn't say cobalt and take off cobalt license frame

- just take off cobalt license frame (but leave front) and leave the emblem i have now ( 2 cobalts)

 

again...its YOUR car....do what YOU want and accept the criticism...good or bad

my criticism...the plate frame is tacky and id get rid of the cobalt sport emblems and jsut leave the CF Bowtie on the back...just fix the damn scratches around it

removing the sport and original cobalt badging is key if you're going to have that (admittedly pretty nice) cobalt bowtie badge.

 

Take off Cobalt Sport and just leave the top badge on, if someone can't figure out it's a sport trim then they don't deserve to know what kind of car it is anyway.. why do you care about people knowing it's sport so much? That'll just give them more hype to try to race you

 

I did fix the scratches the only ones left are behind it lol which u can't see obviously



or just leaving sport. but that would probably look stupid unless i relocate it to where cobalt is then maybe it would look nicer but then risks more scratches =/

barely anyone knows what a "sport" is they just know "SS" and since sport is fairly new and no 1 knows about it no 1 would know what it is and it's disrespecting the sport badge entirely.

I'd just go badgeless, I'm actually thinking about taking off that big homo looking chevy badge in the back and just leaving Cobalt, it's none of their business what trim it is, all they got to know is what's passing them :-p
