Does horrendous mean something different in canada, or is that word supposed to be the exact opposite of what they put?

PS. Not serious about horrendous meaning something different.

they're pricey, but they are the best **** money can buy. i think only me and ninja know this.. im pretty sure nobody out there has tried bilstein coilovers or even seen comparative pricing on them for other applications.

while koni and h&r should be around the corner, they'll never come close to bilstein. i for one don't skimp when putting components on my car. bilstein is renouned for quality and durability... if that option exists, i'd never go to a koni or H&R.

check the bottom of this page for prices for bilsteins' for other cars:

http://www.racecompengineering.com/coilover.html

...even more pricey. Pay to play gentlemen....

It was just a horrendously poor choice of adjectives.

They didn't answer my question about intended use but they made sure I understood they were for the SS only. They even tried to school me on the differences saying: "The LS is not the same suspension as the Cobalt SS/SC. LS uses the FE3 package, while the FE5 is used on the SS."

Whatever.

At least somebody got something.

Thats exactly right, the SS has the FE5 suspension package while the other one has the FE3.

You put Bilsteins on your car and you'll know where your money went, Adjustability my ass, Bilsteins won't need adjustments. Coilovers are a little extreme for my use as I drive all year round (seized lock rings) but my buddy here in Toronto has a 00 Camaro with Bilsteins and Sportlines and the rest of the suspension goodies and that car has no business handling like a go cart at 3600 lbs+. You get what you pay for, plain and simple

I asked them if there was any love coming for us LS & LT owners and the answer was "Unfortunately, not at this time" which means "never" in most probability. I guess they figure since we were too skint to buy the SS/SC that we couldn't afford THEIR stuff, either. Their loss.
