Friday august 15th is the next open track night at mission raceway, as long as im not working i will be down there racing, if anyone else is interested, please post in here. Everytime i have gone, i been the only cobalt there, lets see if we can get a small group to come down for some fun races down the track!!

If you got a helmet then sure i take you down the track. Im not sure if you gotta pay more come along but easy to find out. So yea if you can get ahold of an approved helmet then i take you down the track. I raced an older RX7 last time at the track, cant remember the time but he trapped 106mph lol

SupeCobaltLt, bring down your lt man, race it, trust me we wont be the slowest cars there, people race suvs, stock dually diesel trucks, mini vans, beat up hondas etc. But we deffinately wont be the fastest either, theres some turbo hondas, a supra that comes down sometimes and others but its a real blast going down the track.

Hell i took my Jeep liberty renegade 4x4 down the track when i had it. Ran a 17.4 @ 78mph lol

BTW pacific, you see your car breaking 13's once its all tuned? dont need a helmet unless you run below a 14 flat.

I will race as soon as I move both my amps and cap+wireing to the back of the seat instead of back of the sub box so I can pull my subs out. I don't think they'll let me go down the track with my subs in the trunk :thumbsdow

To any of you guys racing, make sure your bring a pen to fill out a tech card and PANTS they wont let you race if your wearing shorts or a sleevless t shirt.

They are already accross the port mann, its pointless for them to go back accross then to take the pitt river, that'll take waay to long. Hop onto HWY 1 East bound, take 264th exit to 56th, follow the backroads. There will be signs to show you how to get to Mission. It'll be the quickest way from Surrey.... thats the way I take home from work. From Surrey to Mission takes a half hour! You'll end up going through Matsqui then over the Mission bridge, right to the race track ;).... It'll be a lot faster than back tracking then taking the Lougheed.

The way rob suggests u dont go through ridge but get there faster

go to the 264th exit, head around and keep right to go North, turn right at 56th and keep going straight and over the train tracks, until you get to the end of the road. It'll have a lot of twists/turns/loops. You'll have to go through a 4 way red stop (which you keep going straight until the end of the road). Turn right when you get to the end (there will be a sign that says Mission this way). Then you'll head over a second set of train tracks, right after, you'll turn left at it (again there should be another sign that says Mission. Keep going straight, it'll take you through Matqui (you'll know by the smell), until the end of the road where it says Mission, turn left (abby mission hwy). Then you'll know the rest of the way, it'll take you over the Abby-Mission bridge.

Remember the meet+greet in Mission back in March... it was the roads we took to go to Langley... all the twisties lol... Been taking those roads to /from HWY 1 since I moved to Mission when I was little. Its fun and its faster than taking HWY 1 to the exit that takes you to the Abby-Mission HWY.

Oh well, we only got 2 runs in, track had a big oil spill when we arrived, hour and half later it was done and there was a shit load of people there, big VW meet there, so that didnt help.

My best run of the night was a 15.8, humid as hell in the evening, didnt help my times, before my best was a 15.6 so hopefully next time i can get some more runs in with less humidity lol.
