Finish on rims failing!
I was washing my car yesterday and I have 3 rims where the finish is flaking off
(mainly where the spokes meet the rim). When I noticed the flaking on the first rim, I thought it was the rim that was refinished after the dealer nicked it. Then I found that the only one that looks good is the one that was refinished. I called the service manager and he said bring it in to get them fixed
. It is likely that while I have not heard of this happening before that I am not the only owner this will happen to.
Now I am thinking that instead of having them done in the original gunmetal that I will get them changed to just chrome.
