do SS 17" rims fit on an LS?

Thats my question. Will Factory 17" ss rims fit on my LS? Looking to buy some, and want to make sure I can just put them on my balt. Thanks!

I believe the SS rims are 5 lugs and anything lower than an SS has 4 lugs.

no.....LS is a four lug setup, along with 1LT's. 2LT's are five lug, which will work with the ss wheels

Yep... Most Cobalts are 4 lug with the exceptions of the SS's and the LT's...

Ya, the ones I am looking at are a 5 lug and my car is a 4 lug. So that means I am outta luck?? That is pretty silly that the same car but with diff trim package rims wont fit. Oh well.... It was going to be a super good deal too

All the Cobalts that come with the 5 lug wheels have 4-wheel disc brakes. The rest of them with 4 lug setups have rear drum brakes......thats where the different lug patterns come from.

Is it possible to get adaptors or maybe redrill them? If so, anyone know somewhere I can get the adaptors or a place in AZ to redrill them? Thanks guys.

You definitely won't be able to re-drill a 5 lug pattern to a 4 lug pattern. And as far as the adaptors go.......If I were you, I'd just forget about it and get some nice aftermarket 4 lug wheels.....save the headache.

lol yeah, it was different.....I felt like the only cobalt in missouri that had the five lug wheels but still had rotors in the rear.
