price for new s/c ss?

i was looking in the paper and saw that some dealerships have dropped almost 10k off the base price..ive seen cobalt ss s/c's stickered at 17,xxx USD...

is this normal across the nation? or just around here? because if i paid 24k for one, and then not even a year later they are selling for 18ish..id be pissed.

they arent selling welll cus they're a niche car ... you kinda have to research to find out about em and they were produced in low numbers far as I can tell

Awesome, my 05 LS was MSRP $18.3 =)

Much lower with all the incentives and rebates we had, though..

Makes me want to kick myself.

2 days after I bought my cobalt at red tag price (24,2xx) they started this new low msrp thing. I was pretty irate to say the least. Oh well...thats the price you pay for being impatient.

Canada still has the same prices as when the model year started! What a rip-off!

I have an 05 LS, that translates to an 06 LT. I don't own the base model...and the cobalt was out for a few months before I got mine in May of 05. Options include sunroof, power everything, automatic, etc...

Or would you have preferred me to get a Neon or Focus, perhaps a Civic?
