i also wrapped the whole intake filter and all in plastic sheets we have here at the shop
when i was satified with the fitment, i just unwrapped it like a present, already installed!
thats Pro Moves baby!
only fitment problem right now is the filter is pressed against in inner bumper, but ill address that if it becomes an issue

Hey nice pics. So tell us what HP are you looking to gain on the upgrade ??
Why did you pick Injen over the other brands ?
Regards,
Winged Avenger
Yeah my intake sits in the wheel well kinda weird. It's on an angle and it's not that low to the ground as I thought it would be. But yeah my intake tube on the one side is scratched up as all hell. That's probably why K&N gave me two stickers, probably to put one over the scratches after installation lol.

oh and gains, the throttle response and pull are much smoother
the air sound like it rifles thru the metal pipe alot better
injen claims 17hp, but i notice quite a bit more than the air box mod with larger cone filter and that one had a inlet on the front of the filter too so being realistic id say a solid 10hp over my baseline dyno in my sig
Great low end and top end

thanks for the compliments
Nice, clean car! Well taken care of! My car is covered in road salt
I see you ziptied the ECU back, I did the same. Connector was hitting the rubber boot. Also put rubber hose around fender openings and kept plastic around during install, no scratches either.
As far as the filter hitting the fender on the inside, I did not use the original stud. I fabbed my own and moved it about 1-2 inches to the right. That moved the filter away from the fender, but slightly makes the tube hit the inner fender well, which I can live with.
