how did you get into first? was it from a stop? or did you shift into first to go up the hill?

weird normally they just don't go into 1,3,5 or 2, 4 , R I'd say you pulled your shifter cables out of socket.

so you had to tow it home? it's still really new so i would just take it to the dealer and have them fix it for free. sounds like you fucked your synchros, or if it's as common in the tc as the sc, a roll pin. easy fix.

it's pretty hard to see where I'm talking about but there are two cables that come off of your shifter run through the firewall and into a brackett attached to your transmission. where they are attached to your bracket they go through a plastic peice about the size of a #2 pencil.. that could be where your problem is.

or you can take your front cupholder out to get a look at the bottom of the shifter to make sure you didn't mess anythign up down there.

yeah probally a roll pin... i didn't see your other post. but it could be all sorts of **** honestly!

Its either the roll pin or bushings, Id bet money on it. Please UPDATE when the dealer tells you - it seems like there have been a lot of posts like this one recently.

don't hammer through the gears. be gentle, shifting hard won't make you go faster.
