I like my oem gauges more though. I just wish they were brighter! Gramps 02-15-2006, 03:30 PM hows install, is it a whole new cluster or what? PhoenixSS 02-15-2006, 03:33 PM Looks nice, just need the boost gauge to match now! victoryredss 02-15-2006, 03:34 PM i thought they would have looked better but its prob. the yellow that throws them off but overall clean install. how would you rate the install 1-10? now all you gotta do is replace the boost guage to match. sneaky 02-15-2006, 03:35 PM It looks great...you gotta see it....having trouble posting the pics...can someone host and post them in this thread or a new one in the appearance section...pm me and Ill email them to you...thanks how did you get these installed? They come with directions? GSoccer24 02-15-2006, 03:36 PM they look sweet. it would be even better if that company made one for the boost gauge. eclipsefloyd 02-15-2006, 03:52 PM The boost gauge is being made as we speak...blackcatcustom will send one to anyone that ordered early...before they had a boost gauge made...I might even leave the original one in there since its up on the a-pillar and that way I still have a piece of the original stock gauge colors...as far as installing them...not too bad...you really have to take your time or you'll scratch the shit out of your plastic around the dash and mainly the top of the steering collum...no instructions came with it...but I can answer any install questions if you get hang up...the engine light is on because the key was in the ignition and turned on but not running...overall I would say the difficulty of the install was an 8 out of to 10...the hardest part is taking the needles off and putting them back on and recalibrating them...no it's not a whole new cluster...just a thin plastic template that snaps on the cluster. mi6_ 02-15-2006, 04:06 PM looks nice..............what's the check engine light on for???? :ca: Check engine light is on because the car is on accessory power (not running, with the key in the ignition). I like them. I like the red faced gauges best, but I understand why you would have gotten yellow for your bannana-mobile! http://www.thumpertalk.com/forum/images/smilies/banana.gif eclipsefloyd 02-15-2006, 04:16 PM [QUOTE=mi6_]Check engine light is on because the car is on accessory power (not running, with the key in the ignition). I like them. I like the red faced gauges best, but I understand why you would have gotten yellow for your bannana-mobile. Its not a bannana...its a lemmon! plyboy-illest 02-15-2006, 04:17 PM how long did it take to get to ur house after your ordered it R33P3R007 02-15-2006, 04:17 PM Looks nice, just need the boost gauge to match now! thats what I was thinking. Although I like the OEM ones too. if only they were brighter. eclipsefloyd 02-15-2006, 04:50 PM how long did it take to get to ur house after your ordered it It took about 7 days cmj917 02-15-2006, 05:49 PM What color backlighting did you opt for ... the yellow? badg1rl 02-15-2006, 05:58 PM ahh the infamous CEL... THey look great!!!! undrgrndcobalt 02-15-2006, 06:10 PM they look good... need the boost gauge tho... mcphatty 02-15-2006, 07:04 PM isnt there a company out there selling the whole cluster, so you dont have to do the recalibration stuff? eclipsefloyd 02-15-2006, 08:05 PM Backlighting is white also...and its much brighter than before...as for the whole cluster...I dont think anyone has it for sale...It would be hundreds of dollars if they even did...considering thats the main interior computer built into the cluster. EricTF28 02-16-2006, 01:53 AM I like the look of the white gauges in there, particularly with the color-coordinated SS emblem and lines. The only thing I don't like is the boost gauge still being black. Looks like you stole it and threw it in your car. BooSSted 02-16-2006, 10:03 AM I don't think I like them. I like the look of the stock black guages. mkulrey13 02-16-2006, 02:48 PM Can you right a How-To on this? im kidna afriad of the recalabrating stuff :P thanks alleycat58 02-16-2006, 02:57 PM THANK GOD, those look a million times better than stock.
