I'm going to see if I can pull video on it. I work for Meijer as a Chicago Market LP Detective so I have about 7 cameras on the parking lot. It was pretty shitty out last night so I'm not sure if anything will be clearly visable or not. We'll see.

my opinion would be NOT to go through insurance if the suspect is NOT found. take it to a local body shop and have it appraised. if it is under $500 to fix, then there is no need to contact your insurance company......it may make your insurance go up for no reason even though everything is coming out of your pocket, they may find you to be liability in the future

That sucks dude, people are ********. She's also right^^^don't tell your insurance about this, it'll just make your rates go up because you have a claim. You'll end up paying for it sooner or later. Just take it to a body shop. The bottom one can be pulled, but the top dent will need to be pulled and then smoothed with metal body filler. Then the whole panel will need to be painted. Would be very cool if you could get who did it on camera though, it's always nice when ******** have to account for the damage they have caused. Makes them think twice about blasting someone's car with a shopping cart or flinging open a door into someone's car.

I park as far as I can with in reason and walk, but theres always ppl that for some reason park right up near me, can't stand it. And ya can't take up 2 spots cuz i hate when ppl do that. Don't want to give ppl a reason to key my car.

Alright so this is what I found out so far. I reviewed the video footage and found the vehicle that did it. Called my Detective friend at the local PD. (It helps when you're involved with Local PD quite often) and gave her the Card # that was used by the two pardon my french "Bitches" . So once the record comes back which could be early next week we'll have the suspect. Charge "Accidental Damage to Personal Property" I'll post up more as I get the info. Oh and I have a pretty clear picture of the two walking in the door.

Nice dude, that's great news. Did they know they did it? Did the realize they smashed your door body, look at it and then walk away like nothing happend? Because if you swing your door open and it smashes into another car I'm pretty damned sure you'd notice what you did.

CONGRATS!!!!!! Hopefully it teaches the dumb bitches a lesson. Take a camera to get the looks on their faces. "Next time you decide to damage someone's car and drive off, better think twice - you never know whose car you just hit..."

Saturns can be dented/marked too, granted not quite as easily as sheet metal. I creased the door on a Vue one time. Ignorant ass not only opened his door into my Cavalier but spilled his drink (Gatorade I think) on the roof and scraped a pair of rollerblades down the whole side of my car, then claimed it wasn't him (then I wonder how the green paint got on his door). So as I was leaving I *accidentally* opened my door into his car several times...left some pretty nasty marks. Don't know if they were "poppable" but I certainly hope they weren't!

The plastic either gets a crease or punches a hole in it! I got hit by a nissan titan from the rear she smashed her front end up my rear didnt even have a scratch (a slight crease you can only see w/ correct sun light) paint still perfect!

I seen a redline on the forums get T_boned and he only had a couple of holes in his door

Same thing just happend to my HHR. Since no paint was strach, you can find a dent guy. The local body shop by me said it would cost 120 bucks to make it look just as good as new
