so i read thru the trifeca page thing they have on their main website, i am looking into getting the tuner from trifeca, now i read thru the page, it says there is a deposit, i am confused about the deposit thing, it cost 275+shipping, basically 300, now it says deposit, does that mean they ch arge the deposit the same time they u pay for the tune, or they leave it pending on the account, until either (a) u return the tuner or (b) u dont return it??? those with the tune could u answer that for me, or vince can u answer that for me, i am very confused as i am about to buy cams, i need to know how much $$$ to have for the tune...
thanks in advanced from ur friendly neighboorhood Jn2 :twothumbs

It means that the total cost at ordering time is Tune+deposit so = to about $500.

Then when you get the car tuned and everything is in order, you send the tuner back and get back your deposit.

it's a credit hold meaning they don't actually take the money but it's locked so that if they want to they can take it without letting you know since you pre-authorized the transaction in the first place.

It's just an insurance that ppl send their sh*t back

So they send you like the little PDA thing and you plug it in and you have to send it back so someone else has it? Why don't they just sell the little thing with the tune. So you can send it back and they can modify whats already there? This is confusing like no other

OK....

They send you the tuner. You flash your car.

You go to a dyno and dyno the car with the tuner hooked up to data log the info.

You email vince with the information and then flash your car again with the updated tune.

You keep doing this until the best tune is found for your car.

You send back the tuner and get your hold taken off the money.

/end

Just sighing because it's been explained a few times and there are still ppl who haven't read all the information available by simply doing a serch for "Trifecta Tune"

No hostility my friend.
