hahaha JDM Cobalt..? Just wondering..

Hey guys,

I'm not quite sure where this came from, but here we go.. I don't know if you guys are familiar with the Japanese tuning scene, but many of them love American cars. Alot of high-end tuning companies import Corvettes and stuff to **** with.. I've seen pictures of Corvettes, Mustangs, Camaros, all that on Tokyo streets.. The Cavalier was even available over there (under Toyota), and believe it or not, you can make a JDM Cavalier.. lol. So what I'm asking is this.. Does anyone know of any such doings with a Cobalt? Not saying I want to put side markers and RHD into my Cobalt and be all JDM-y0 or anything, but I think it'd be sweet to see some well-respected tuning company over there import an s/c or something and go tear up the Tsukuba circuit or something.. haha Otherwise, if not, don't post and make fun of me. haha. I'm just used to all of my friends rollin' in their turbo Civics and **** and it makes me think of weird things.. haha

As I said, I'm not asking about what it takes to make a JDM Cobalt. All I asked was if there's any companies over there doing big things with a Cobalt. That's it. Don't be an ass.

After random search: not JDM, but I like the exhaust.. Kinda like the Cooper S..

The stuff they make in japan for japan is better than what american companies make (for cars). Exception: videogames...

Yup, x2. Yeah, instead of having chevy, they signed it over to make it have a toyota badge.

Not at all. I said I was wondering if anyone knew if any big tuning companies over there IMPORTED a Cobalt to mess with. Like they did with Corvettes and such. I never EVER said they MADE them FOR Japan. They never made Corvettes for them either. They IMPORTED them. Like we import things like Skylines. Goddamn.

That's fine. It just pisses me off when everyone thinks they have to be a smart ass and add in their two cents.

They have all sorts of odd cars over there, so maybe they thought the Cavy was sweet next to a Smart car? lol.
