View Full Version : www.Cobalt-Addiction.com WEBSITE UP AND RUNNING
Cobalt-Addiction 02-18-2006, 04:45 AM Thank you all for your patience. The Website is finally up and running :guns: . Some sections are still under construction but about 75% of the site is filled with products and pics. As far as we have tested, every cart button works so go ahead and start making purchases. We will be working some bugs out of it this weekend (currently our view cart button isnt working but we should have a fix by tommorrow, for now just add to cart a different item when you want to check out, then you can cancel it out in the cart menu by clicking remove and update cart).
We have alot of the items in stock and ready to ship out :twothumbs . If anyone runs into any problems or sees any major issues please email us at sales@cobalt-addiction.com and let us know . Hope you all enjoy our new site and we look forward to a great future within this community.
Thank you all for your support,
Donna and Kenny

In the body kit's section there's a widebody kit I haven't seen yet coming in april 2006, do you have any other pics of that kit yet?
Site is very easy to navigate, nice job.
JonyyB 02-18-2006, 09:49 AM nice site! I added a link for you
RedSS30 02-18-2006, 10:04 AM Very nice site! It's about time somebody stepped up and opened up a "Cobalt" only store.
One thing I think would be nice, since there are alot of Canadian Cobalt owners out there, is to add a price calculator that converts to canadian dollars and also have shipping prices quoted in canadian.
Great Job!
ajent 02-18-2006, 10:39 AM Looks good. Might be getting CF hood from there and/or diamond plate mats.
BlackSS05 02-18-2006, 12:15 PM donna one thing under the corsa exhaust u have a pic of the MOnza exhaust. just letting you kno so pppl dont flip out.

Thanks For the input so far . We are looking into a full cart system that will let us offer shipping calculation for the US and CANADA. PAYPAL cart system only lets you go so far. Shipping costs vary not only by weight but by package size , so its tricky.
We definately have no Problem shipping to Canada . We use USPS for small to medium size objects , and UPS for larger shipments.(USPS has size and weight restrictions). Bodykits Ship by ground freight to CANADA. We can try an add a currency converter as that seems like a real good idea , i just have to see how it will be to integrate it into the site. We normally answer emails sent every business morning and evening so getting back to everyone is no problem.
We were striving to have a very simple , straight forward, easy to navigate website. We wanted more focus on parts than trying to navigate around. We were going to split sections up for the different models like other sites have but we have found that parts tend to get lost and people dont learn whats out there for the other models that way. I have always liked to see all the options so i could learn about all the models , not just the one i might own. This also helps when your giving advice on forums , or thinking of new ideas you might like to do that isnt offered yet for your car.
- Thanks for catching the exhaust slip up , we use a generic template and change out pics and it seems we forgot to change the pics in the corsa section . We got that fixed already :twothumbs
-If anyone has any good product pics that they feel may help our site please email us the pics and your info and we can work on a way to reward ya ;)
- Keep the comments coming as they are definately appreciated and will help us make you a better site.
Thanks Again ,
Donna and Kenny

r@z0r 02-18-2006, 01:37 PM I'm not sure if it was because I was using Mozilla to browse the site or not, but I didn't notice any 'Back' buttons in each individual categories...I had to keep hitting my browser back button and such.
Other than that, I love the site! ^ It was slightly hard to read the descriptions...
artawesome 02-18-2006, 01:42 PM WoW! great looking site! keep me up 2date when u add new items to the site!

We wanted to keep it clean so instead of back buttons you can just reclick onthe section buttion you want to go to . Or as you said keep hitting the back button .
We will see what works out with the text colors. White was harder to read and other colors just looked out of place. Its hard because we want to keep the pages small and try not to have way to much text or way too big of pages . I will try some other color options and see what works but so far black has been about the best. We will play with the font and possibly make it bolder. Work in progress , glad you all like it so far .
Also we offer the complete line of GMP products as well as we can get great pricing on any OEM factory GM Parts. Just send us some inquiries of what you would like . There are so many parts and so little time to get them all up . Also many of the parts are hard to get pics for.
Keep the comments coming ,
Thanks,
Donna and Kenny

We will Have pics of the eyelids by Mid week. We had gotten the prototypes in and they werent absolutely perfect . Especially for the price the manufacturer is charging for them . We are seeing what we can do and work with them to improve the quality.
Thanks

fiShYs- 02-19-2006, 03:19 AM so r there discount for cobaltss members?
WickedSS2005 02-19-2006, 12:43 PM One question, do you have to buy the entire wing for the cf ss/sc wing? Is there anyway to sell just the insert cause that would be all I'd need right?
badg1rl 02-19-2006, 01:12 PM One question, do you have to buy the entire wing for the cf ss/sc wing? Is there anyway to sell just the insert cause that would be all I'd need right?
Currently The wing only comes as one whole piece with the sides. We have been trying to get the manufacturer to sell it as just a center but they cant do it until they sell out the inventory they have. As updates come we will definately inform the community.
Right now many of the prices are set as a low introductory price just to compete with ebay and some other businesses so that we can draw some business and get people familiar with us. We can't always be the lowest priced around because we might not get the best pricing. We try and make up the price differences by offering great service , extensive knowledge and a wide product array. IF you find something cheaper somewhere else please email us the link with all your shipping information and we can try and match it if not beat the price. Many times we can atleast match the price but in the long run it will work out better for the customer as we try and throw in free stickers or lanyards when we have them . Also the more product purchased from us , the more we can work with you in the future on discounts , prototype products , sponsorships , Cobalt car shows , Mod meets and dyno days.
Our view is if we offer discounts to forum members or any specific people that means our prices would be already higher by that amount. IF you forget to give your discount code to a business offering a code ,then you lose out . We try to just give everyone the lowest price possible just to be competitive with the Cobalt market right now. In the future as the business grows and we get better discounts on the product then a discount can be possible. Our discounts to the community will be for bulk buys ,new product offerings and for large orders. Discounts vary between each product as there is no fixed mark up anything becuase of trying to stay price competitive.
Thanks Again for all the Support, Keep the Ideas and comments coming !
