am i stupid or cant i find the oil filter? i need to change my oil lol

 

Its on the top of the engine, kinda on the side though. Open the hood and it is to the right of the intake manifold. It is a drop in cartridge. I do not remember what size the head is to take it off.

 

Ha, your not stupid after what I did last night.

I scratched up the entire bottom left side of my front bumper, deep scratches, when I failed to realize there was a big concrete slab in a parking spot I went into. The front of the car went up a few inches, and I thought it was just snow--until I felt that scraping kinda feeling--terrible. It's not really noticeable unless your on your stomach--but knowing it's there makes me wanna smack my head against a wall...I'm so stupid.

thats on the oil pan shouldnt be hard to find. Its the only bolt on it.

If you can't find the oil drain plug maybe you shouldn't be changing your own oil....

I could understand the filter cause it is weird on these cars but a drain plug is a drain plug.

Being someone who works daily with 'delayed learners', the newest politcally correct way of addressing someone with this type of disability, I would know they also don't like to be addressed as mentally/physically challenged, retarded, etc.

Other 'inconsiderate' words should be censored as well--stupid, dumb, thick, moron, etc. Some people are may be considered some or all of these adjectives, and they may be offended by it.

Moderation should be equal from post to post, not in one specific thread.

Guys, while to some it may seem silly to edit for “retard”, for others it is offensive. Some people do have to live every day with both physical and mental disabilities, and some have to live with their children who suffer from these kinds of conditions.

A few of our members have mentally challenged children and to them the loose use of this word is not funny. They have asked us to have regard for them.

This is a car forum and we are adults. Please try to have intelligent conversations without the name calling.

Without minimizing what has been posted in the quotes by Jonel, it is a good practice to follow in general throughout our everyday lives. People can be challenged, not by disabilities but the ignornance they get from people who don't take the time to learn.
