2008 TC - How many?
Anyone have info on how many SS/TC's were produced in 2008? Only produced for 3-4 months in small quantities... I'd say a rare piece of machinerey in the 2008 model... I hear they only made 5000 a year of the SS/SC's [not sure how accurate that is] but I don't see a lot of SS's out there...

I know there are only 10,000 being made in 2009, so I imagine that figure was lower for 08 when they were new. That really is a extremely low # considering how popular and affordable this car is. My dealer told me they cant keep them in the showroom for more than a week or two, and pre-owned ss's are an easy sell.
The Rarest is better for resale too.
like 2 door tahoes
rare or not , the resale on chevys is not great. when i traded in my ss/na they wanted to rape me. once i said i wanted to buy a new model they rasied the trade in value by a few thousand since they knew it would result in a sale. in the end the sale never happened since they couldn't get my ss/tc in a timely manner. beleive it or not i saw the actual car made for me by my order driving down the street last week. it looked sexy as hell and kinda made me regret not waiting for it. oh well....

VW mad only 5000 R32s, and often still selling close to retail. VW is junk btw, SO why are they still almost the same price ?? German import that has a crappy transmission and crappy warranty etc ?? Strange little world we live in if people are willing to pay for a German engineered POS
heres' a thought. how many Imperial Blue Metallic SS/TC's have you seen personally?? i know there is one in cali but other than that... idk. i'd like to know how many were made total for 08 as well. if we could ever know.

But yeah, the Cobalt is a Cobalt and the crappy thing is no matter which one we all got, our re-sale value is all going down...
No their interiors are much nicer. My friend has a 04 MKIV Jetta GLI, and his interior is 5X better than my SS/SC, and his car is 2 years older...
My Cobalt @ slightly over 3 months old already has a few interior rattles that annoy me, didn't figure they would come so soon.
Oh the rattles... Yeah I had one... Just wait until your shift cap snaps off, clothes hanger break, carpet wear near clutch, and your satin door trims start to peel... All of that happened before I had the car for 2 years...
I heard all the same complaints with my Scion tC. 73k miles later and I had none of those problems. Of course engine wise I had an endless line of expensive problems. Good thing for the warranty.

The niceness stops with the interior. VW's are full of electrical and mechanical problems.
