Need help with new hood

soo im purchasing a carbonfiber hood monday. and i was wondering if im going to need hood pins and if so what kind and where should i buy them?? thanx

Some people do need HP's....most don't. You'll have to see when you get it.

in most cases it should latch down fine, but hp are good extra insurance.

I've known a few people have their cf hoods fly up on the highway without the pins. I never had them, don't have the car anymore, bought some but never installed them, but if you don't want the roof of your car smashed and windshield busted (not to mention if you wreck when it happens!), you might get them just to be safe!

Probably not but it's a good idea. I hate the idea of drilling a brand new 500+ buck hood as well.
