Ghetto intake scrap hole fix!
Ghetto intake scrap hole fix!
Alot of the sc guys when they get their intakes sometimes they don't line up right and it rubs on the metal lip causing a gouge in the intake and possibly a hole.
I want to see who has the most ghetto fix for this problem and then post it up with pics.
I will get mine up when I can get my camera fixed so lets see em guys.

To make it not happen just put a rubberized buffer (mat or cut a gasket) around the intake where it's going to rub. Costs like 3 or 4 bucks at ace hardware.
If you catch it before rubbing a hole through...
I took mine off the car, wrapped a towel around the part where it rubs, and wacked it on my concrete floor in the garage a few times until that spot was flat and wouldn't rub.

i took a piece of 1/2 rubber gas line cut it to about 5 inches long and then cut it length wise and stuck it over the steel pinch welds. hardly noticeable and doesnt look that bad!! free fix thanks to my work
