GM Racing Cams?
I know there was a limited amount of these produced and they require some valvetrain mods, does anyone have the full specs on them and are they still available, I'm concerned that I might be waiting too long to get my hands on a set of them and to date I don't know of another cam combo that works. I would think something designed by GM would work a bit nicer than anything else out there.

ah forgot about that place, whats this you mention about needing valves seated or machined or some **** in the classified ad you had up
I was looking at that overthetop performance head with the oversize valves and upgraded springs would that work with no other mods with these?

comp cams makes them, gmtunersource has the downloadable .pdf of the buildbook and the specs on the cams are in there. i'm sure if you call up Comp they could hook you up with a set.
i'd give you the specs myself but i'm on the work computer and the .pdf is on my laptop.

Intake Cam: 0.441 inch net lift
218 degrees duration @ 0.050 inch lift
109 degrees of seperation
Exhaust Cam: 0.437 inch of net lift
220 degrees of duration @ 0.050 inch lift
109 degrees of seperation.
Straight from the build book.

Build book says they were, but could be a typo or something. Plus they were a limited run of custom cams. So they may tell you that they don't produce them, because they don't. Only the limited run for GM-Racing.
There has been reliability issues with these cams combined with the stock lash adjusters. GMR uses bates engineering lash adjusters, machined to match on each valve. Jesel also offers solid lash adjusters in 3 different increments. An aftermarket company (don't remember the name) is now selling adjustable lash adjusters, but I have yet to see a review on them.
summit has the full selection on comp cams with ranging lifts and durations that will fit 2 liter cobalt depending all on what you want. but remember if you replace your cam replace your lifters.... or in time you will break your ****. if you want some real power deck the block and get some wedge pistons or concave pistons is you want to lower compression and get some more torque. and polish your head(mainly combustion camber) and a 3 point valve job or even a 5 point. then you'll be making some serious power

comp did grind them. you won't get the info out of them. you are not with gmr.

I also didn't mention that when they said they didn't make them, I asked about regrinding stock cams to those exact profile and they have not responded (its been over a week). All they said was they were sure they "had something similar"
