what color for the calipers?

I have a Sport Red (maroon-ish color) Cobalt. I'm thinking about painting the calipers, but not sure what color to choose. I like red, but I'm thinking it might clash. Maybe black. Anyone with my color car feel free to post pictures lol...and opinions are welcomed. Also, where did some of you get the Cobalt word to put on the caliper? Thanks guys!

Either bronze/gold. It would give it a nice flare.

Black would look nice.

Or color match them.

keep it a dark shade though. don't want a bright gold on a bright red.

bronze/gold.... interesting....

IMO, color match is ALWAYS the best. but on black, red, blue or yellow, depending on the theme.

Black or color-match imo, I'm pretty sure I'll go gloss black on my calipers/non-contact surface of the rotors.

paint the calibers silver, then apply emblem inserts, paint yellow, then peel the emblem inserts off and it'll be done. I'll have to find the link for the emblem inserts on my laptop though.

Ok...yeah..post it up when you find it. I might just leave the calipers the color they are and just put the sticker on..I'll have to see.

Polished sounds good too. It seems that this color red is kind of tough to get a good caliper paint. I only say that because with yellow, red, blue, and silver...red really matches..except for on a yellow Cobalt..then it just looks like ketchup and mustard haha.

Hey! That's a good question...I'll wait for the answer haha. I think if I do a gloss black, the Cobalt letters will stand out better.

I'm convinced by your enthusiasm. Do you have pics? I did a quick google search, but didn't find a dark red with gold calipers.
