Need to know how to take off dash parts...

I need to know how to take off the passenger pillar, the side panel that is right next to the door on the passenger side, and the panel where the fuses are. If your not sure about what I'm talking about just ask and I'll clearify lol.

The reason is because I'm hardwiring a passport radar detector.

not sure about all the rest but as for the panel where the fuses r. Just pull on it. Put your fingers behind it on the edges and u will feel where the tabs r and just pull there.

should be a screw up top of the pillar then it should pop off as well. it has clips holding it in like the fuse panel but like i said should have one screw up at the top of it

Almost every panel just pops off.

Now for the A pillars there is a plastic cap with a screw behind it. Take that bad boy out and the pillars come off.

Pillar is a bitch to get off haha.

With the pillar is there a technique to getting it off after the bolt is out? Or just pull like crazy?

YOU'LL HAVE TO PULL THE REAR SEATS OUT.THE SEAT BOTTOM JUST POPS OUT.YOU WILL HAVE TO PULL THE SEAT BELTS AS WELL AND I BELEAVE THE ROKER (SILL MOULDINGS ALONG WHERE THE CARPET MEETS THE DOOR. AS LONG AS THE 1 ALONG THE ROOF LINE OF THE DOOR OPENING.AND YOU'LL NEED TO PULL THE WEATHERSTRIP OF THE EDGE ALONG THE DOOR OPENING....LOTS OF WORK

PUT YOUR FINGERS IN AROUND THE TOP WHERE YOU TOOK THE BOLT OUT.CAREFULLY START PULLING TOWARDS THE OPPISITE SIDE.IF YOU PULL TO HARD OR RIP AT IT YOU WILL PUT WHITE STRESS MARKS IN THE PLASTIC AND WILL LOOK LIKE ****.THERE ARE TO CLIPS AND A PEG THT HOLD IT IN PLACE AFTER THE SCREW COMES OUT. TAKE YOUR TIME AND IT WILL COME OUT FINE

if you can get a small screw driver and pry the clips out that helps too.

WORK YOUR HANDS CLOSER DOWN THE EDGES TOWARDS THE BOTTOM CLIP THAT IS STILL STUCK IN THE PILLAR.WITH YOU MOVING YOUR HANDS DOWN THE PILLAR THE PRESSURE ON BOTH SIDES SHOULD JUST POP IT OUT FREELY

tHank you. yea dont go telling anyone to just go pulling like crazy then they end up breaking something. and you wonder why no one likes you!
side note im not sure if it was said or not, the screw is up towards the top where the airbag cap is. undo do that and do what everyone else is saying. just run your fingers down along it till you feel closer to a clip so you can pull from right there so not to break anything.

alright i saw you got the pillar off lol congrats

For the hardwiring of the radar detector, I have to tap into another wire to set it up.

I'm using the passport wiring kit for my 8500. The one end goes to the radar and the other is split- one taps into another wire for power and the other is a ground wire.
