Very cool dude, post some pics on the wheels you might put on it?
:cssNET:
avro206 02-23-2005, 10:23 AM rims and tires will really help--other then that looks great. THat small spoler is so much better then that oversized POS on the SS ;) Is it a auto or 5 speed?
rm25x 02-23-2005, 02:50 PM 5 speed of course.
For wheels, I like these, 16" in size:

b-spot 02-23-2005, 05:04 PM Can you show what the area that would normally have an armrest looks like? Thanks! :)
bruff1977 02-23-2005, 05:12 PM 5 speed of course.

Just remember the model you have is four luggers and the wheels you posted are five...
bbirk 02-23-2005, 05:13 PM Is that just a base or is it an LS? I wish I could have mine today.
rm25x 02-23-2005, 06:27 PM Its a base. And yep, I know 4x100mm bolt pattern, all wheels I posted are available to fit my car.
I don't have a armrest, I have a 5 speed. Wish it did though, but at least I can hold on to the gear shift :-D
StrokerAceDawg 02-24-2005, 12:33 AM Nice ride! Looks exactly like mine. I'm planning on going with 17" motegi ff6 wheels on my silver coupe.
JonyyB 02-24-2005, 12:39 AM nice car :thumb: can't wait to see the wheels on it.
Eddie 02-24-2005, 12:51 AM number 4 will be it in gun metal would look sweet, lowered about 1.6" it will looks sexxy.
White97Jimmy 02-24-2005, 01:04 AM IMO the Enkei's look the best.
White97Jimmy 02-24-2005, 01:06 AM What dealer did you get yours from rm25x?
I went to James-Martin in downtown Detroit, all the have are sedans right now...but lots of em. The salesman asked me if I wanted to take one on a test drive, but I told him I'd wait for the SS's.
iwantacobalt 02-24-2005, 01:16 AM heh yea me too.. my dealership is getting in a silver ls coupe, but no sport package.. :( its a silver with 5 speed manual... they have 11 sedans, but i told him to hold on to it so i could test drive it :)
rm25x 02-24-2005, 09:19 AM Al Serra in Grand Blanc is the ONLY dealership I will deal with. They are the biggest for a reason. It was the only 5 speed coupe they had at the time, I told them thats the only thing I care about.
Check out www.alserra.com and you can see what ones they have in stock at the time.
I am just going to go 16" so I can still have some tire sidewall for all these great Michigan roads.
Probably add some lowering springs too if the look isn't just quite right. I don't want to do too much since its a lease though, but anything that makes it look better and more fun to drive is good to me. Hey.... autocross season starts soon...... hmmmmmm....... :D
xtremeGM 02-25-2005, 12:08 AM looks great! Nice car!
RacerX 02-27-2005, 06:52 PM very nice indeed :o

Actually on my ION3, the armrest came with it standard. I also have a 5 speed, and I can tel you, you don't want the armrest with a 5 speed. Whenever you go to shift into 2nd, 4th or reverse, you'd bash your elbow into the armrest if you didn't raise your elbow up a certain angle. Just yesterday I took out the armrest and replaced it with the pocket console that is available on the ION 1's. It's so much better because now I can shift the way I was meant to. Also, since I never used my armrest, I don't miss it.
