Well I had this same dilema. Originally wanted Arrival Blue, but it was discontinued a week after ordering my car (August '06). So I was going to get Laser Blue, but I didn't like it as much (too dark & purpley). I like the yellow, but it is too bright to drive everyday (and a chick color). The Victory Red is nice, but I already own a red car and I am bored of it. So I tried to get Ultra Silver on the SS/SC which turned out to be unavailable in Canada at the start of the '06 model year (I'm told you can get it in Canada now). So that left Suburst Orange, and Black. I saw a SOM at the car show, and it was so good looking (especially with the Gunmetal rims and G85 Recaros). If I could, I would have changed my order. But I ended up going with Black. I like it, only downside is that it is impossible to maintain. I was afraid the yellow, SOM, or Laser Blue would be tough to sell later on because they are like-it or hate-it colors. The Victory Red and Black will be easy to sell the car with.

Seriously though, I spent like 3 months thinking about it, and kept changing my mind. They are all nice colors. Go with your gut instinct, and don't change your mind once you decide. Thats my best advice, otherwise you'll go crazy!

Yeah that is one reason the black was off my list and I already have a Black Colorado and It is an eye sore when it gets dirty. But when you clean it, it is one of the best looking colors on the road. And the gun metal wheels look great on the black cobalt
So i still got a while b4 i have to decide so i will try to get a better look at all the colors and then decide. But thanks guys for all the help

Black is the best looking when mint and clean... but after driving it down the road once, it is no longer mint and got some nice scratches. No matter how careful you are, if you just touch the paint wrong it scratches... So I would never pick black.

White=easiest to maintain, and still looks really good... too bad you cant get it!!!

Id pick laser blue

Yeah, the orange is really nice. Wish I had seen it on the car before I ordered, because I would have got that instead. Like it just as much as the black.

You know what, I have yet to see a color on the SS/SC that I would not drive. I am partial to yellow, but even that color looks good on the damb car!

I like my Black, although sometimes I wish I got Sunburst Orange. When I got my car, they could have gotten me Sunburst Orange from another dealer trade but I opted to wait the month for black. The Orange has definately grown on me, it looks really good at night and in the sun.

And yes, Black is a pita to keep clean, but when it is clean it rocks!

I love my black Cobalt, the sexiest color by far. But evertime I see a silver SS I wish I got that color - it just shows off the lines of the car real well and is by far the easiest color to maintain.

Silver all the way . I like the Sunburst Orange as much as the Silver though too . If I was given the option of picking Silver or SOM , I woulda had to of flipped a coin . Unfortunatly though , when I bought mine it woulda been a looooooong **** wait to order one . I thought Silver would be one of the more common colors too , turns out a silver SS isnt to common at all
