Well, I may have to sell the Cobalt. I like it, but the GTO's are calling my name.

Here are the Specs:
2005 Cobalt SS/SC Victory Red w/Sunroof, XM, Black/Black interior and side airbags.

Mods:
B&M short throw shifter
K&N CAI (no cel, ever)
Tinted windows
arm rest
billet lower grill
SS front emblem
Debadged rear bowtie
Painted Caliburs
Alpine type S front and rear speakers
DC strut Bar

Car has 6,400 miles. I could trade it in, but I'd rather it go to someone here! I am Asking 19,000 obo.

keep it. after summer time there will be packages that will flat out eat GTO's plus I am unsure why you would want something that costs more in insurance and in payments but to each there own! :)

I don't know about you, but for me the difference in the insurance was only like $30 every 6 months. The car payment however was $200 more every month.

GTO is only another mark in history come September. If I wanted one and could afford it, I would be going to the nearest Pontiac dealer tomorrow too!

Hey, how about you order an '07 Solstice GXP instead? Thats what I want!

Not a big difference in insurance. Thats the beauty of being older :) I'm not too sure about there being packages that will flat out eat a GTO, a stock GTO is running 13's, modded ones are running 11's and I've even seen them run 10's. A 11 second daily driver, yes please! Plus an 05 GTO is going for 26500. Its too good to pass up!

Damn dude, good luck with the GTO when you get it. I love GTO's. I was so close to getting a used 04' 6 speed in yellow jacket until the quote from the insurance comapny came back....$5,500 a year....:( I want one so badly!!! In about 2 years I might trade my cobalt for a slightly used 05 if I can.

I don;t know. Guys with just a tune and SIMPLE mods are running high 12's. I definately feel more power. The balt was nice, but the goat is nicer. From the engine to the overall build quality. The balt was fun....I just needed more.
