BlackElement 02-22-2006, 11:03 PM yea i love modified too...is it this months issue(march)?? celicacobalt 02-22-2006, 11:13 PM imo choose 1 or the other memphisr24 02-22-2006, 11:18 PM Yeah but if you have both, you have NO lag (what you get from big turbos) and you get the torque numbers and high hp numbers of the turbo. It's like having the best of both worlds. RuSSo-29 02-22-2006, 11:21 PM LINK any1??? celicacobalt 02-23-2006, 11:42 AM Yeah but if you have both, you have NO lag (what you get from big turbos) and you get the torque numbers and high hp numbers of the turbo. It's like having the best of both worlds. most modern turbo kits have hardly any lag for street applications, its a myth really R33P3R007 02-23-2006, 11:45 AM LINK any1??? Times 2 memphisr24 02-23-2006, 06:19 PM most modern turbo kits have hardly any lag for street applications, its a myth really Not from big turbos. The ones that produce 450 whp and up. They have SO much lag. I watched a dyno of a 530 whp supra, that thing barely climbed to 3000 rpm and after about 4500 to 5000 that thing shot up like it was nothing. And then I saw an 800whp evo pusihing like 32lbs of boost. Boost didn't kick in until like 5500 rpm. celicacobalt 02-23-2006, 06:40 PM yeah i mean when you are talking street legal 4 cylinders though the correct turbo matched to the engine should be a good power band fiShYs- 02-26-2006, 11:11 PM where can u get turbos for ss/sc? do u really have to change ur internals?(pistons, head, valves etc.) ReMz 03-01-2006, 12:44 AM Yeah but if you have both, you have NO lag (what you get from big turbos) and you get the torque numbers and high hp numbers of the turbo.
